In many of Victoria’s ecosystems, fire is a natural and important factor in maintaining biodiversity over time. Used effectively, controlled ecological burns are used to maintain, regenerate and increase plant species diversity, and to continue to provide habitat for native animals.
Naturelinks employ qualified and experienced staff to perform pile burning as well as drafting and developing ecological burn plans. Our plans are developed to achieve maximum diversity of indigenous floral species and minimum weed species whilst assisting in the running of the ecological burn and wildfire response.
